Be careful when using new G-codes for negative pressure wound therapy

Check coverage carefully on the new G-codes for negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). The coverage may extend to more than one kind of device, and you will have to document its use carefully. This year, CMS added two G-codes — G0456 and G0457 — for the use of disposable NPWT devices.
