A CMS survey of Medicare patients finds them in good shape by some measures (e.g., good knees) and not-so-good shape in others (e.g., overweight or obese).

We've been poring over the proposed quality payment rule since it was released last week. There's a lot going on in the rule, but we've already found a silver lining, of sorts:
Providers must establish a treatment plan, discuss potential risks and even consider regular drug-screening tests for patients for whom they prescribe opioids, advises a new set of guidelines from the CDC.
