In a sprawling Part B fee schedule released today, CMS proposed a 4% decrease to the Medicare conversion factor, revised policies for numerous E/M services, physician assistant billing freedoms and a loosening of telehealth coverage policies.
 
The FY2022 ICD-10-CM guidelines were released Monday, July 12, and include instructions for how to assign new code U09.9 (Post COVID-19 condition).
Practices will have a new ICD-10-CM code to report for post COVID-19 cases (sometimes known as long-haul COVID) starting Oct. 1.
