While you're waiting for your piece of the $100 billion emergency fund that's part of the COVID-19 stimulus bill, you may want to consider an expanded advanced payment plan offered by CMS, as well as loans offered by the Small Business Administration (SBA).

Add another code to your coronavirus testing list. In addition to two available HCPCS codes, you're now eligible to report a new CPT code for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) testing claims.

On March 13, CMS posted a fact sheet to the cms.gov website to aid Medicare providers, billers and coders with information relating to the pricing of both the CDC and non-CDC coronavirus (COVID-19) tests.
