HHS will dole out extra funds to state consumer assistance programs (CAP) – a health reform product which award grants to state agencies or local non-profits and help consumers get coverage, according to the agency’s June 7 news release. Thirty-five states, the District of Columbia and four territories were given CAP grants in 2010.
