Senate considering a 30-day Medicare payment patch

Senate Democrats are working on a 30-day Medicare payment patch that would delay the 21% cut to March 28. It's unknown if Republicans will support the measure, which includes several other extensions.

The Congressional Budget Office says the Medicare provision in the "Temporary Extension Act of 2010" would cost about $1 billion.

The country is obviously being run by idiots. They have had over a year to fix this problem. This not only effects the physicians but also all the medical billing companies who employ thousands of people who are dependent on the physcian billing for their lively-hood. They are the employees with no voice whose wages range from $9 to $13 per hour. They are frequently the sole bread earner in their families. I hope they have total recall of this mess the next time they enter their voting booth.
