CMS upgrades its website, invites public to test drive and submit feedback on the update

It was in beta testing for a few weeks, but CMS officially launched its updated website on Sept 7. The remodeled site “features an updated information architecture and streamlined navigation, as well as a refreshed home page,” according to an email announcing the revisions.

CMS used feedback from stakeholders before the unveiling and wants users to continue to test drive the site and submit input, according to the email.

“Get comfortable with the redesigned home page, and orient yourself to the navigation improvements. Visitors are welcome to provide us with any input via a Feedback button available on every page on the site.”

The primary landing page remains the same -- www.cms.gov -- and you'll notice familiar paths for fees, programs and other items.

But revising links will be part of the ongoing work in progress. Part B News found that several previously viable links now go to an error page. The refreshed links below are for pages that Part B News staff regularly use; check back for updates to the list if additional broken links are found (and submit any links you can't find via the comments field below).
