Survey says ... Early results for annual coder survey show compliance is a high priority. And everyone got a raise last year.

The 2018 DecisionHealth/HCPro medical coder salary survey launched on March 30 and will remain open for three weeks. One respondent will win a $25 Amazon gift card.

Early analysis reveals some interesting trends. For example, the average raise is 5%, according to early respondents. In addition, compliance appears to be a top concern at many practices, with 52% of respondents indicating that HIPAA compliance is a key factor in their performance review. And nearly a third of respondents selected selected compliance-related activities when asked to indicate what new duties they'd taken on in the past 12 months.

Do these results track with what you're experiencing? If you're a coder, take the survey today.
