The near-4% Medicare conversion factor cut that you were expecting to arrive Jan. 1 has been significantly reduced after Congress intervened with a Dec. 9 bill. Also gone, at least for now: The 2022 sequestration and PAYGO cuts, meaning roughly 9% in expected revenue losses for 2022 physician payments are reversed for the time being.
