A major women's health organization has issued draft recommendation for required, copay-free health care coverage for women, which has guidelines close to current standards.

Every U.S. state except Vermont reduced its 30-day, all-condition hospital readmission rate over five years, according to a Sept. 13 CMS announcement.

The FDA released a new, streamlined form June 2 with which physicians can get investigational new drugs (INDs) otherwise not cleared for treatment into the hands of their patients. FDA makes no guarantees but says applicants should get their approval within 30 days -- and in some instances may get it immediately.
