Have you Googled your practice?

Part B News reader survey
Well, have you? If you do, you're almost guaranteed to find a profile for your practice on sites like HealthGrades.com or RateMDs.com. Your doctors didn't do anything to make this happen; instead, these sites pop up with new physician and practice profiles routinely on their own.

On some sites, like RateMDs.com, your patients are free to leave anonymous comments - I looked up a doctor I know and read some helpful comments like "doctor's nurse is brain dead, staff is rude, surly and incompetent."

How should you respond? Especially when so many patients are using online search engines to find doctors?

Take the Part B News Web presence survey and share your thoughts with us - we'll run the results in the next issue of Part B News. Our story will show you not only what your peers are doing, but it'll feature HIPAA-related legal advice from an attorney plus best-practice ideas from consultants and physician groups.

The survey will only take a few minutes - head on over now!
