An upcoming Part B News article explains that CGS Administrators, Palmetto GBA, Noridian, Wellpoint Federal and WPS have issued the final uniform local coverage determination (LCD): “Peripheral Nerve Injections and Procedures for Chronic Pain.” The LCD will go into effect for CGS, Palmetto, Wellpoint Federal and WPS on Oct. 25. Noridian will implement its LCD on Nov. 1.
