When we reported in January that you had till April 2 to report Quality Payment Program data to CMS, you may have thought you had plenty of time to think about that later -- but here's a reminder that it's now less than a month away.
CMS reminded providers in a March 5 email of the deadline, which ends promptly at 8 pm ET on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Once the deadline passes, CMS warns, "data cannot be resubmitted."
If you're using a data registry or qualified clinical data registry (QCDR) to report MIPS, CMS encourages you to "sign in to the Quality Payment Program website during the submission period and review the submission for accuracy." CMS Web Interface users have to report their quality performance category data by 8 pm ET on March 22, 2019.
