Quality Payment Program feedback due today

You may find a tougher threshold for avoiding a pay cut under year two of the Quality Payment Program (QPP), as well as more exclusions and some extra bonuses, but none of the plans are final yet -- comments and feedback that can shape the rule are due to CMS today.

 

Released June 26, the QPP proposed rule set forth a plan for reporting measures under the merit-based incentive payment system (MIPS) in 2018 and provided further details for providers who want to take part in an alternative payment models.

 

To date, CMS has received nearly 900 comments. You can file a comment before the deadline at 5:00 p.m.
