health care news outlets have tried to predict the arrival of the new proposed rule for the 2018 Quality Payment Program. We've been more cautious, but we're ready to predict the wait will end today (June 19). The proposed rule had been on the Office of Management and Budget dashboard for months, but it was gone this morning.
In our experience, rules come out the same day they drop from the dashboard, but with a new administration in charge, it's hard to say.
