CMS extends EHR incentive program appeal date

If you were considering filing an appeal under CMS' electronic health records (EHR) incentive program for the 2011 payment year, you now have until April 30, 2012 to do so.

If you feel you should have received bonus payment from CMS for meeting the EHR incentive program requirements last year and that a circumstance out of your control is the ony thing that caused you to miss out, then go ahead and take advantage of this extra month gift and submit an appeal.
