Last week we told you about Drs. Sharma, a husband and wife team that made millions ripping off Medicare. But in reading the press release we noticed the U.S.A.G for the southern district of Texas was a little confused by the terminology for a common pain injection.
 
It isn’t surprising, even clinicians and coders struggle with these procedures (which you notice we haven’t mentioned by name). We had to check the Anesthesia & Pain Decisions website to be sure, but we bet there are a few pain management coders out there who will pick up on the mistake on the first read.
